Does PageShot upload my PDF?
No. Your browser reads the PDF and renders each page locally. HandyTrove does not receive or store the document or the JPG files.
Can I download all PDF pages at once?
Yes. PageShot packages every generated JPG into one ZIP file. You can also download any page separately.
What resolution should I choose?
High is a good default for readable documents and sharing. Standard makes smaller files, while Extra high is better for detailed graphics and printing but uses more memory.
Will selectable text and links remain?
No. JPG is a flat image format. Text, links, forms, signatures, bookmarks, and accessibility structure from the PDF do not carry over.
Can PageShot open password-protected PDFs?
Not currently. Remove the password in the application that created the PDF, but only when you have permission to do so.
