Schengen visa photo size: what is shared?
EU guidance says the application photo must comply with ICAO standards. Those standards concern the biometric photograph itself. They do not create one universal online upload limit for every embassy, consulate, or visa service.

Find the photo instructions inside the official portal you are submitting to. Then enter its minimum or maximum KB, required width and height, and accepted file format into the EU / Schengen profile. Do not reuse limits from a different country simply because both are in the Schengen area.

Technical fit is not biometric approval
