Why RulePix will not fix this file
The Government of Canada says the online-renewal photo must be saved directly from the camera's original file and must not be altered. RulePix therefore performs a read-only technical check.
What the check covers
The profile checks JPEG format, the 200 KB–5 MB range, the published minimum and maximum pixels, and the 3:2 portrait aspect ratio.
Professional and biometric rules still apply
The photograph must be recent, professionally taken, properly lit, correctly framed, and accompanied by photographer details. Read the current Government of Canada requirements.
